hmm the debate about secondary stats....dex vs con one gives more crit that equals to more dps the other gives more hp that equeals to bigger survivability atm im 21str 13con 13 dex and thinking to put my 1 free point tooo...i dont know :P

Why didn't you go for 20 Str? I went for 20 str as a Human.. Thinking that was the main stat for GWF

Because my gwf is a drow. 18 is as high as you can start with.

i wish they could creat a more even leveling and power gain/distribution, i dont want to suck 40 levels, i dont want to be op for 20 levels, i just want to be as powerful as everyone else all the time but better at my specific role

What role? as GWF's we don't have a specific role :/

As I get it from your build, if AOE situation arises you stick with WMS spamming? Didnt you consider going WMS x 1 and wicked strike till the debuff lasts? Or you keep your sure strike for single mob situations?

Cool, thx for posting this build. I have been crushing as an instigator. It is nice to see that there are multiple viable builds. My build is so different then this one but putting up big numbers. In tier 2 queues wrecking it as half Orc.

Dex imo... You will often have tons of little guys losing 50% of their damage from deflection + crit chance + there's a lot of aoe in game. + crit = sex with combat advantage.
Gave in to that momentary sadistic twitch...

What did you spend your points into and at what rank (1,2,3)? I'm only lvl 5 or so atm.. I'm going to try and follow this build and see how things go.. thx for the guide

I just started the game too, and I'm new to these types of games. Can someone show how they spent their points for their skills? This'll help a lot!

Ok, I've been doing alot of testing on two powers.

    Steadfast det

    and steel blitz

I can't tell which is a dps increase over time over the other.

Steel blitz seems to proc alot due to 2 mobs you are in combat with, any higher, it goes off nonstop. IT WILL hit all the mobs, not just the one you are targeted and it has no ICD. Steadfast is great on boss fights but due to destory'er purpose/Roar, you gain 100% in a short amount of time making steadfast a wasted slot cause it gains about (even though it says 20%), by looking at the bar, you gain about 5% each tick, every 6s I think(I may be wrong on this, hard to do this when I get hurt by mobs testing alone)

Do anyone else got the math here between the two and so on.

One, two, Pinkie's coming for you, three, four, you better lock your door, five, six, grab your crucifix, seven, eight, gonna stay up late, nine, ten, never party again.

Would Weapon Master and Destroyer(with Focused Destroyer Feat) be a better choice over the the two you are testing. That way when there is fights where you are fighting 1 mob you can still build stacks because 12% damage increase can not be taken lightly.

I ended up with a build very similar but with weapon master and destroyer. I also use Restoring strike instead of roar. I ran 3 epic dungeons, so not a large test group, but it seemed to work really well. I out dpsed a CW with a GS of 8K and a rogue with a GS of 6K (same as mine). With slam and indomitable I can even pull adds and kind of tank them as long as I pop them soon enough.
Let's pretend like my account name isn't just a random string of characters I got by punching my keyboard.

I'm actually a little confused by why people claim that GWF have trouble leveling 1-30. I've been doing a GWF, and so far my only complaint is how utterly ROFLStomped I get in PVP.

With the Cleric companion, there've only been a few bosses that I've had even a little trouble with. Everything else is just Mighty Leap into the center, AoE down the little guys, then focus on the things still standing. Potions can get interrupted by saving your Takedown. Most bosses are just a matter of learning their animations and sprinting out of the way when they charge up for a big hit.

And yes, I chose half-Orc, building up STR and CON.

First, thanks for the build post and coments; it helps. Second, today is Sunday??? Third, what do you think of this other build; yours and his are the only 2 I've found so far?

Is sure strike or great weapon strike to be used as main "at will" attack?

i stumbled onto this while lvling my first char, i didnt read it until lvl30 but it was the exact same powers i had planned out for myself, when do you switch over n start using steel blitz? Ill have the skill finished by the end of the day but Im wondering if using it at lower lvls will have any adv. over the crit ability.
