Grouping Level Disparity

Some of the dungeons and skirmishes have simply way to tight of a level gap. We had a group of 3 people, 34, 36 and 37. There was not a single thing we could que for as a group. The Skirmishes, the 34 was either too low or the 37 was too high. For dungeons the 34 was too low for Isis, and the 36 and 37 were too high for Lair of the Mad Dragon (which makes no sense because the dungeon is a 34/35 level dungeon.

You are making a hardcore, diehard fan really get frustrated here. I am not sure what the issue is against grouping, but there are way to many barriers in place all over the place that make it just so much harder than it should.

Simply adding a downscale or upscale to all dungeons would solve all problems, but there has not even been mention of anything of the sort. Please PLEASE! Do not forget those of us who prefer to group in this game. I have brought up before that Foundry missions should scale to party size, but no response of any kind.

This is really getting frustrating....Please throw us a bone.

So, it turns out you can go into a dungeon no matter your level if you run to the door and enter. It's only the group finder that will reject you, and of course skirmishes have no door so you can't get in.

But get a few friends and you can totally do the Mad Dragon or, for that matter, any other dungeon.

You cant expect content for every level in a MMO. You want auto scaling? How about the loot? You want auto scaling loot? This is a MMO.

And also expect to cater for your party level difference. 34,35,37? Get the 34 to level faster or tell 37 to slow it down? You want to party as a grp then level up as a group.

The foundry already does this. Cryptic's other games already do this.

Of course, how unreasonable to expect this MMO to let us do what every other MMO on the market lets us do.

Besides, due to class-specific and race-specific quests, this won't work unless everyone in the group is the same race and class.

We should be able to group with our friends regardless of level.

Both of Cryptic's other games (which use the same game engine as NW) have tech that lets all group members temporarily set themselves to the same effective level as a designated group member. Some content in their other games actually changes all characters zoning in to a designated level. Either of these would solve this issue. Cryptic already has the tech to do both of these in the engine used for this game - they just haven't adapted it for this game. Yet.

Cryptic need to know that this is a hot item for us, so that they make importing this functionality a higher priority.
    Waiting for paladins...

Next week you'll all be level 60, and all the dungeons have an epic mode.

This is not a big deal.

Not to mention, you don't have to use the public qeue. You could have walked to the door of any dungeon you wanted to run.
