Bonus rewards at end or beginning?

For example, on my minimap it says there is a bonus for skirmishes in 5 minutes? Can I join one now and get the reward at the end since the skirmish will take more than 5 minutes? Or do I need to wait?

    Hello,

    If you join the skirmish early and complete it while the "bonus" is active, you should get your extra reward.

    I ran a skimish yesterday with 15 minutes left before the "bonus AD" event ended. We finished about 2 minutes late and the chest did NOT give us the extra AD. I believe this should be changed. As long as you're in the skirmish as the event is takeing place, the reward should be given at the end.

    I agree, sometimes i'll sign up to join a dungeon or skirmish, and it will take so long to get in that event is over. When i do get in with time, sometimes it takes longer to finish it. Feels like more than a gamble with how things are now. :\

    I guess it means you should look ahead and see what's coming. I do agree that it would be better the other way.

    It should be anytime you start one while the event is active, even if you finish it once the event has "ended."

    Heck some events don't seem to even work.

    I ran a dungeon yesterday and at the end (while the event was still active) it said that all dungeons would have an extra chest at the end with a guaranteed item of your class, but I didn't get one. I guess maybe it doesn't apply to single/quest related dungeons? That's the only reason I could think of of why I didn't get one.

    Sounds like it works exactly like the equivalent event bonuses from STO & CO then. Thanks.
