My character keeps moving backwards when I move. Spells are lagging and taunts become useless because you Bounce back to where there are no enemies. Very annoying and it takes the fun out of the game.
Also, it has been like this since I started playing yesterday.
In the betas I never had this rubberbanding occur, and I don't Think there are that many more playing now, so what's up here?
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks!
Path of Bone
Handle: snottling
Short code: NW-DHRY3YX3N
I'm also noticing some rubberbanding. Playing from the UK.

try playing in Australia...dodging is useless, mobs hit you even after theyre dead, disconnects on map transitions, loot not popping out till 30 seconds later (big delays) and yes rubberbanding all over the place.

I'm from Aus and I also get these problems. I feel like the Net code that Cryptic uses need to me modified. I've played other MMO's and been on US servers with no problem except a high ping/latency but it's still playable.

Having the same rubberbanding issues, from USA, east coast.
I have fiber optic cable to my house that was just installed about 6 months ago, so I doubt its my internet connection as other games play fine.

I am having much the same issues, though even more so today. I really am dreading tomorrow. Worse yet, when they merge the servers. I really do have very little confidence in this mega server tech they have been going on about. They really just need localized servers, I doubt it would completely fix their problem, but it would go some way to making it more manageable. Like some of you I've played on many a server in the US (I'm from the UK) and I've never experienced it this bad before.

mine runs fine no problem, east coast usa here. smooth gameplay and graphics transition, no lag
The only place in the past two days I have noticed any problems or lag is in the Enclave...I get the occasional freeze or glitch if it is busy. Once out of the main zone there, it has been smooth sailing. Canada, West Coast.

Got mine fixed, turns out it was my modem going bad...had to replace it last night and then had no more issues.
Sorry as I doubt that will help anyone else. Good luck!

All of the shards are in a single California datacenter. Everyone outside of the USA is always boned by PWE.

Actually the fix to the major rubber-banding is the patching that goes on in game... Disabling this on the launcher through option will stop the rubber-banding completly. Of course there will still be lag but gameplay is a lot smoother with that switched off...
