Go go go download speed

Decided to buy the $60 pack afterall and I had uninstalled from beta weekend 3 to make room on my ssd for when bioshock came out so I am having to re-download..... Even the torrent is slow and the direct download wouldn't even download anything.....

Seed please!

    Did you try downloading from one of the partner sites? That's what I had to end up doing, because the other options refused to work.

    They are actually slower than the torrent mostly. The torrent has been anywhere from 80k-800k but mostly hovers around 150k.

    I'm on a 30x5 connection but all options are slow. :-/

    Hmm, that's strange. You'll just have to let it chug along then. That's what I ended up having to do for my laptop, took a while, but got there eventually.

    This is why you do these things when you know you're not going to be online.

    Going to work? Log in right quick and let the patcher update whilst you're away for the day. Come home, voila!, game is ready.

    normally yes, but I didn't decide I wanted to buy into the game until tonight.
