Founderspack - character or account bound - what now definately?

this has been asked before, but the answers given variied and also the description in the packs is quiet vague and could mean both...so whats the deal now with the founds pack items - are they bound to the first character that claims them? can you then just claim some of the items for this character or all or nothing? or are the items account bound and available for all your characters?

the description is just also very unclear (probably intentionally so) - 1/character can mean 1 per every character or 1 for 1 character...

    IIRC everything in the founders packs can be claimed per character except for the Astral Diamonds which will go to the first character to claim them. (Namely due to the fact that Astral Diamonds can be traded for Zen)

    lol and i thought i was sure that exactly the astral diamonds were the one thing to be account wide

    also if HotN start kit is one per account (first character i assume). AD can be claimed in lots (last i tried it).

    Everything is labelled per character and per account.

    If it is per character you can get it once per character you create.
    If it is per account it can only be claimed by once per account.

    However it is important to note that you may select how many Astral Diamonds to withdraw at a time. You do not need to apply them all to a single character but once they are withdrawn and applied to a character they are there permanently.

    The mounts and companions don't have this listed though. Are they per character or account?

    Of course, you can always put them up for a Zen trade at a price nobody will pay, then withdraw the offer, which places them in an account-bound location. Then you switch characters and withdraw them on it. This isn't considered an exploit; Cryptic devs have in fact mentioned it to people in STO when asked this same question.

    Worst case is somebody DOES buy them, in which case you've got a gigantic pile of Zen that will buy you replacement AD with change left over. :)

    My concern is how do you get the helper packs? As a purchaser of each founder's and a starter pack, I only want to get one (helper pack) per character. Am I forced to accept them all on one character if I want the other goodies? If so this really diminishes their value for multi founder/starter purchasers. The FAQ and purchase page does little to explain this, and we never got them in any of the BWE's to figure this out.

    Indeed you are right Syber. I've seen that suggested multiple times myself but I leave it to better experienced players to explain things like that! With my luck I would botch up the explanation! Haha.

    You should be able to withdraw one at a time from the Founders Vendor (I believe).
    Nothing is forced upon character start. Everything related to the Founder's Packs have to be withdrawn from on interface or another :)

    If it's like STO you get the one off account packs from the Zen store interface.
