It doesn't stop people from going on the forums and saying, "Look at what the Great Weapon Fighter can do, he's so OP!" We want that. We want the players to feel empowered, but not so broken that they feel unfair to other people not playing that class.

Just like poitics , the mouth is moveing but there is no relevant information coming out.
Don't ya just hate that, everything these days is politics. Even at work, even at school, it's just politics. I can't wait for launch though, to take me away from all the politics and just raze endless amounts of monsters.

(Some things from the second interview)
"If you've seen what Cryptic's done with Champions and Star Trek, those games are years old and still get regular, significant updates."
Champions does not get "regular, significant updates." That's just not true. If they do think what CO is getting now is "regular" or "significant" then I'm worried about Neverwinter.
What do you see as being the most lucrative store items that you'll be selling?
"Definitely not content; that's one of the things as a studio that we don't believe in selling."
So this isn't the same Cryptic Studios that I bought content (Adventure Packs) for Champions from? Or is this a new belief the studio has now?
I'm looking forward to Neverwinter, but concerned Cryptic might drop the ball like they have with Champions.
Why was the decision made to have a "no wipe" open beta?
We wanted to get people in the game as soon as we could. We felt confident from beta weekend 4, and there wasn't anything major changing past now. So we wanted to reward our early adopters with some sort of benefit, and they're doing a lot of great work for us, like promoting us by livestreaming the game. We wanted to give them the ability to get in and play and help us make the game better before the launch-launch.
Not sure I am a huge fan of this but I am sure it will make a lot of other people happy. I do have a question now though. When there was going to be a wipe before open beta we were going to get our AD and Zen refunded that we spent in previous betas. Will this still happen? I would like to have the Zen and AD I did spend on the betas back.
