I know they got a texture polish at some point, they added some facial hairs and touched up some of the graphics and so-forth. They look a lot better than when I first joined the testing. Probably worth a look.
some of the hairs still need some work and look a bit glitchy with certain armor types... but for the most part they made them look a tad better still needs another coat of polish before launch (its important to note that the 30th is the date for open beta not the games official launch though i'm sure some see it that way) I say this because open beta leaves the notions of issues open and may possibly be resolved in the near future if enough comments find developers ears.
There have been minor adjustments here and there (hair color for one expanded or displayed accurately).
But they still need a lot more work, Elves in particular (Half-Elves too), look frumpy, with this RIDICULOUS frown on them.
I realize D&D kinda borked the overall look and design of Elves since 3rd Edition (some of them like 3e Mialee looked like moon cats), but they can do better than this.
I've never played a game where everyone has such a frown on them. Y SO SRS?
Animation is still really bad too, watching people "walk" around Protector's Enclave (both PC and NPC), it's hard not to laugh.
Models and animation are a problem, but I suppose the game has other features that make up for it.

Eh, unfortunately not for me...
Appreciate the feedback.
I guess I'll wait and see when some character creation and gameplay vids get released.
One thing that has been bothering me to no end is how bug-eyed most of the female models are. I mean it really just looks horrible. More than anything else, even the crazy capes, because at least you can turn those off, the big ol' bug eyes.... I can't stand them =\
