Possible reason for rubberbanding?

I had 65 instances of ones like this during just the last BWE (time and the last 6 digits of the IP address were the only things that were different):

130414 18:18:33 39 Client[0 [NOENT]]: GameServer link disconnected (208.95.186.71:7355). Reason: socket was shutdown(0:No error) (socket error 0: No error)
130414 18:18:33 40 Client[0 [NOENT]]: GameServer link attempting connect (208.95.186.66:7361).
130414 18:18:33 41 Client[0 [NOENT]]: GameServer link connected (208.95.186.66:7361).

In the above, I have bolded the parts that didn't change from entry to entry (I think I got it all the way correct), and italicized the parts that were variable for whatever reason (time, IP address). Any suggestions?

Apologies for posting this again, but after dropping this note in the rubberbanding thread, I realized it would probably be most appropriate here instead.

Thanks for reading, and +10 internets to anyone who can help me get this resolved.

    Are you on satellite?

    What is the connection data?

On Comcast cable, with a measured ping to Southern California of about 40, and no packet losses. I'm pretty sure it isn't my connection.

Ok, those two IP's belong to Cryptic's, the last for numbers are port numbers. I would say what happened is that the server you were connected to lost connection and you then were routed to another server. I myself was rubberbanding when trying to do stuff just after entering one of the taverns and getting extreme lag. Not sure how many were on, but my bet is the server you were on may have done a memory refresh (aka soft reboot) and shunted people around while it came back online. Its actually good to know this does happen, least you know you wont get yourself booted by the system unless it reaaaaly lags out. Then if that happens there is something more major happening.
It will be interesting to see what happens with it all on April 30 when they not only have to deal with those who had access to Closed Beta, but then get the influx of those joining the Open Beta.
