The art direction in this game is the unnecessary chinese influence:
1. The little "Chi"/"Kung Fu" fingers up front Control Wizard animation.

2. The chinese dongle on the bottom of the Devoted Clerics holy symbols.

3. The electric slide/holy roll animation on the cleric class is really, lame. How about a holy poof instead?
I got a lot of love for Chinese culture, but other than monks, the Chinese symbolism does not belong in the realms. I will literally not play CW or DC because of these things.

And clerics are actually based on crusaders according to this article.
So even if it doesn't suit you it's not asian based design. Personally I love the clerics both visually and mechanically, they're my favorite class thus far and normally I am not big into clerics or support classes.
I hate that as of last Beta you'd have to change personalized key mapping for each toon instead of it being persistent across your account.
Heather - Ranger
James - Paladin
Jet - Warlock
Royal - Cleric
Gray - Rogue
Red - Wizard
Ios - Barbarian
You can. You can do it in a .pref file and load that file whenever you want, or share it with friends.
I'm also not a huge fan of the symbols, but eh, what can you do. I think they would be cool as a singular high-leveled weapon skin or something, but just starting out with something that massive and epic kind of cheapens it for me.
Totally agreed. Take example Benediction/Anathema in WoW. Funky looking symbol, but it's a specialty item. Make standard clerics have staves and give them the symbol as a paid thing or a high end item.
1. Non-instanced loot. Or some is and some isn't. We've started setting our loot to Round Robin to avoid the N/G/P pop-up. An option for all instanced loot would be great and would avoid the N/G/P annoyance that can easily turn into grief. I say an option, because some people actually like N/G/P.
2. Party members zoning to different map instances. We should all be put in the same instance, but now one of us has to wait a minute for the dang timer to expire to join the rest of the party. It would be nice if zoning gave preference in regards to friends and guild members as well.
3. Too many currencies. OMG... I want to talk to the first game developer that decided having multiple game currencies in a game was a good idea and choke them. Then the next developer that thought not only was multiple currencies a good idea but having 10 currencies is a GREAT idea... they deserve some seriously horrible things to happen to them... virtually anyhow. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but man it annoys me so much!
4. Chests only lootable by one person. Some are, some aren't. I don't know if it's a bug or intentional. Please make them all instanced loot for the whole party. It would be cool if the profession kit sparklies were there for everyone too instead of disappearing once someone loots them.
5. Some quest objectives/clickies work for the whole party, some don't. UGH!! Make them all work for the whole party please.
6. No mentoring/up-leveling/down-leveling system. Sometimes you want to play with your low or high level friends.
7. You can out-level skirmishes. Unless someone knows a way to get around that? Super annoying. If they can up-level people for PvP why can't they down-level people for skirmishes?
