This is for both GF's and GWF's. How do you think these classes should work in PvP?
GF's are pure tanks in PvE, so how should that apply in PvP? Should marking targets with Enforced Threat and other abilities be a priority, or is it best to try and pump out as much damage as possible for as long as you survive? Being that you're facing intelligent opponents who realize that you're a low-priority target, should the GF take advantage of that lack of attention to get in close and disrupt with knockdowns/backs and other CC, or should they be dishing out damage on par with the other classes?
GWF's are AoE specialists, but in PvP it's a rare sight to have more than 2 targets in range. That being said their mobility and cc-immunities allow the GWF to charge straight in and stay close to squishy ranged casters, so should that be the focus of a GWF's tactics?
How should your feat choices affect your gameplay? What should an offense-specced GWF be capable of that a survivability-specced GWF cannot?
I have limited experience in either class, so I can't really come up with an informed opinion. What are your thoughts?
**Note that I'm asking how should these classes play, not so much how do they work as of BW3. I'm interested in theory-crafting, not numbers/ratio quoting.

I played GWF a good amount in pvp, strength is decent CC and high mobility. Very good at keeping CW in check and good at solo battles.
The GF lacks mobility, but appears may have the best burst damage in game. I haven't tested it yet, but will next beta weekend. Regardless, they will want to build around knights challenge as both an offensive burst ability and a defensive save your buddies ability. It has a good range to it.

I don't think they have great burst DPS, but they can definitely close targets faster than they might anticipate (via Lunging Strike) and continuously stun-lock them with skills like...
****, I forget their names. Well, there's a feat path to add a stun to one of their high DPS skills, and a feat line to increase the prone duration on any of their skills. Single-target stun locking the rogues that try to go for your party's casters, or going after the other party's casters, should probably be your focus as a GF. They can survive (and block) short bursts of even the most intense single-target DPS talents in the game (without having to dash away, like a GWF), making them the only class that can reliably enter combat against Rogues and Wizards.

I'll state from the start, I've not played a GF yet. However, looking at their feats, especially the conqueror line. It appears you can get 100% power. Combine that with knights challenge and the other handful of damage bonus skills, you can get about a 6 second window of 2.75x damage every 26 seconds. Combine that with some of the harder hitting abilities and you should be taking off some huge chunks of health.
I'm really curious to see how hard I can get anvil of doom to hit.

THAT'S the skill I was trying to think of. Amazing power.
