One thing that struck me very early on in the beta weekends was the issue of levelling-up after the game has been out for a while.
I understand that a large percentage of MMO players are in a gawd-awful race to get to end-game so that they can become bored of the game ASAP. Speeding through quests so that they can do 6 raids over and over and over must be just the trill of a life-time. I just don't know what I'm missing.
But here's the real point. Those lower-level instances will be a bit buggy while everyone is levelling-up - but there'll be lots of players for the Dungeon Finder so there won't be any problems finding groups.
After the game has been out for six months, many of the bugs and balancing issues will be resolved ... and it will be MUCH harder to find full groups for those instances.
Especially during the days, EST - which is when I like to play.
I have a few friends that'll be trying this game out too. One buddy will only be available from 7-9 weeknights and a bit more on weekends. Another one will only be available from 11am to 3pm and will probably start three different toons ... possibly getting one up to max-level. Still another friend will be on at all sorts of strange hours during the days and nights.
So here's the thing - I'm looking for a levelling-guild of alt-o-holics who LOVE crafting, as well as completing the content and dabbling in end-game (not obsessively).
Lets be real now; this game is going to require guild co-ordination. In order for there to be enough people around to actually fill parties during the days and evenings, there will have to be a lot of people in the guild. I can't do that myself - I lack those particular skills.
I have deep respect for those who can actually run a guild. It ain't easy.
Conversely, trying to field thirty people in one Ventrillo is a nightmare. There has to be a system and a sensible way to keep track of everyone; their needs and their interests.
So I'm here looking for people who are also a bit older, a little bit crazy (but not too much) and who can be gently herded into workable groups to complete content.
Guild Wars 2 screamed the same issues when I first played the beta, and I was absolutely right. This game will be the same. Join a Big Guild or choose to play only half the content. Its really that simple.
PM me (if that option is possible) or respond to this thread please. Do NOT PM me if you do not have experience with older players, do not have a large-ish guild already or intend to run a strict guild with lots of rules.
WARNING: My definition of "Adult" is people over the age of 30 (generally speaking) and me and my friends are fond of profanity. It makes playing games such as these bearable. Thin-skins and lots of rules will end badly. You can insult me ... occasionally ... but I don't tolerate people who ride me or take the mick out of my Canadian accent.
We are all MMO pro's with a long list of games under our belts, not all of which are RPGs or MMOs.
Good luck to all in Neverwinter and I hope you enjoy your stay!

Hey there,
I don't know if you have considered this but we are a predominately EU guild (do have some Americans) so if you guys are playing at EST daytimes that would hit more on our primetime over here.
We are not over 30.... well most of us are but by the rules we are 21yrs+, we do swear too much so defo not a place for the younger more delicate ears
So far we have just over 30 folks interested in Neverwinter, and that's steadily growing with most folks eagerly looking forward to group content and the foundry missions
Anyway, linky to website is in my signature, plenty of info on there to read about us, should we fit the bill sling us an app, and ofc feel free to use the contact form if you have any questions
What ever you decide, I hope you find the right guild for you and have a blast in Neverwinter
Not a guild recruiter but I like your perspective, being an over 30 gamer myself. I hope to find something similiar. Good luck to you and your friends!
On the other side of the screen, it all looks so easy.

Hello Grump, we here at Grievance sound like we would make a great fit for you and your friends if you haven't already made your choice friend. I would ask you to stop by, browse the site and see what we are all about. We certainly are a mature stable weathered guild with many members who all share common values of Family , Honor and Loyalty. Thanks for your time, Sardokus. www.grievanceguild.com
