The Plague Tower Bugged, Cannot Complete

Defeated the Plagued Linkletter for the 2nd time, after he fell through the floor. Opened the secret door in the next room via the statues, as the quest step said, but got no completion of that quest step. I have since gone all the way to the top of the tower and defeated Rhazzad, but got no credit for the rest of the tower, as the quest was still stuck back down in the basement area on the Open Secret Door step. Tried to submit this as a bugged quest in game also, but my bug submission timed out...

Wow, this just happened to me. I don't care if someone calls it a necro, but this bug is over a month old, and a major part of the story.
Kill Linkletter second time, open the secret door, no new objective, proceed to kill Rhazzad, now i'm stuck. Sure, I could replay the whole thing but this makes me quite certain that they haven't fixed the other bugged quests i encountered and reported, AND posted on forum about.

i kill him the 1st time but he just stands there with 0 hp. i followed it through did it all and defeated rhzzad and was stuck at the top of the tower. there was a red barrier not allowing me to exit the tower so i teleported out and restarted. did it a 2nd time and the exact same bug happened. i shall go try it one more time. if it does not work this game can kiss my ***.

exactly what happened to me, only i logged off and on and the barrier was not there...but still the linkdude is there stuck on 0 hp...wtf...oh and my path leads me to a door on the 1st floor i cant seem to be able to open

i restarted the quest and was lucky enough not to encounter that same bug...so mission accomplished..still i suppose they should fix it sometime soon

How do you restart please, I can't get out of tower because of purple floor.

I can't even get to the top of the tower as when I get to the 3rd statue puzzle every time I go to pick up the Staff of the Crone the game acts like I am in combat even though there are no enemies around.

That means there is an enemy nearby but you can't see it. It could be hidden in the wall. It could even be on the other side of the wall. There is a wall you can walk through (visually, it is a wall). I don't know if this is your case but that tower has 'magic' wall(s) that you can walk through. I used to do that just for collecting stuff from the treasure chest.

In the worst case (not necessary your situation), there is enemy on the other floor you can't reach. If that is the case, you will have to re-do the quest.
