I've been strolling around the forums for quite some time now, but mainly on the French side, where I already introduced myself, so I thought I'd do it here as well.
I'm a 39 year-old human male, married without kids, French as my native tong but fluent in English, and learning Chinese (but very slowly) because it's my wife's native language. I'm a huge fan of science-fiction and fantasy with a strong preference for the Forgotten Realms. I played many RPGs, and then many MMORPGs, Neverwinter Nights 1&2 (liked the first one better) and back in the day built a pretty big mod with a couple of friends. I also read a lot of Forgotten Realms novels so I'm really eager to start modding for this game.
I'm the guild leader for Eclipse, which is a French multigaming roleplay community formed ten years ago in Star Wars Galaxies. In Neverwinter, our roleplay guild will be called L'Orbe Noir (The black Orb), which is an old order of mages formed around a strange and powerful magical orb dating back to the time of the Netherese and Halruaa. Over the centuries, the order branched off to archaeology and the collection of magical artefacts, as well as commerce. If you visit the many taverns in Neverwinter, you may stumble upon our famous dark ale.
My goal here is to create a huge campaign on this theme, and so I've recently published my first quest. It is roleplay and lore oriented, so it will have a lot of texts and dialogs, and multiple paths and endings, but also great PvE challenges. Of course, it's in French for now, but if I get good feedback and ratings, and therefore more quest slots, I will be translating the whole thing to English so you guys can enjoy it as well.
I look forward to trying out the community’s quests, roleplaying with the English community as well as the French one, and making friends in the Forgotten Realms.

If in your journey you seek a guild to aid you on your way, then might I suggest you make your way to the that notice board over there and look at the Directory of the Founder Guilds of Neverwinter as I'm sure you will find something that will take your fancy. All the best.

As I said, I'm actually GL for a french guild so I'm not looking for another one.
No apology necessary. You were pointing a new guy in the right direction.
Since we only recruit french speaking players, we won't be presenting our guild on the English forums. I feel it wouldn't be fair to English speaking guilds, and it could be misleading for English speaking players.
