For the Trickster... or any class for that matter. Do you have to select the initial feats that are in-line (level) with the respective paragon paths in order to ultimately unlock those paragon path skills? Or can I pick whichever of the 3 in the initial column, and subsequent columns, and still pick whichever paragon path I like when I am at that point?
It's point-based, not a tree. You could put all 20 points into the first 3 columns if you wanted, and you'd still unlock all the paragon paths at 30.
Combat advantage is a damage buff you get when you and an ally flank an enemy (are on opposite sides of it) and bonuses to combat advantage damage increase that.

It also appears as though you don't have to pick a paragon path either. You have to put soo many points into the first row, starting from the top of the screen to the bottom, to goto the next row. So you can put all 30 points into all 3 paragon paths.
Or am I mistaken ?

Putting points into one paragon path doesn't lock you out of the others. However points put into a particular paragon path only go towards unlocking the next row in that particular path. So if you spread your points between the different paragon paths it will take longer to unlock the rows in the various paths and you might not be able to get to the final feat in any of the paths.

Thank you for clarifying. I didn't realize this. I figured any points spent in that first row (top to bottom) went towards the next row (top to bottom). It didn't dawn on me that the points required to get to the next row (again top to bottom) is based on each paragon path by itself. Will be interesting to see how spread thin we can go. But at least it's safe to say we won't be taking feats from all 3 paths towards the end of those paths. Probably won't be enough points to get there.

I believe your mixing two things up here Paragon Path and Feat trees the only place I seen paragon paths in the Paragon Path subsection.

Dardove has it 100% correct. I think you can 'splash' 10 points by top level in another Paragon feat line and still retain your (minimum 21) to reach T5 skill.
Unlike heroic feats, you have to unlock each line with 5,10,15,20.

Also, the Paragon feats are not dependant upon your paragon path. They are global feats which apply bonuses no matter if you chose the paragon path "assassin", "shadow thief" or what have you.
