Though I started a new account (old name was from PWI years ago and sounded something like an emo bands opening song) I played in last beta and was a HUGE fan. This game fits into that spot for user created content but still has a kiss *** combat system and the voice overs are some of the best I've seen IMO.
Foundry
Alright there are a number of features I'm praying the foundry applies. I'll explain each one as well. I know some of these features might be already implemented.
Saving NPC templates: This is a must for reoccurring NPC's to be in the game. If I'm going to make a quest line I most certainly would like to be able to save one of the protagonists for use in other foundry creations.
Importing a PC: Importing player characters is mainly a must for me for RPers. Just obviously the looks would be needed and perhaps having them need to approve of the use also. Who wouldn't want to design an epic questline for players to free their hero from the depths of a dark dungeon only for he/she to join them in battling their way out.
Factions: Not what you think. Imagine if you could ping on NPCS a faction, and make certain factions hostile to one another. Wolves could chase down prey, knights would attack the bandits that were hunting you. This would even allow players to create full battlefields
UISkill Sets: The one thing I did not find clamorous was skill swapping. It felt awkward and out of place (perhaps being used to other MMO's with so many actions on the screen. I feel a simple UI button to swap out predetermined sets would solve this issue. Obviously you would need to be out of combat for a period of time, but certain fights I've certainly noticed (blackblade anyone) that being a ranged TR was a little safer.
A little note on the need or greed UI. I love what you did for making it hotkeyable. Really useful considering in some places the combat never seems to stop!
. However do GF's really need to be able to need roll on a piece of leather armor?
