I don't know if it will be a shop, but there will definitely be some sort of reward for earning achievements. Achievements have a point value assigned to them and your total achievement points are tracked.
Champs and STO have done their Achievements/Accolades diferently.
In Champs, you will unlock costume options the higher you kill count goes for a specific type of enemy. like: killing 5k Purple Gang members unlocks a costume piece associated with the Purple Gang, etc.
In STO, maxxing your kill count against a certain enemy type will give you a 2% bonus to your damage against that enemy type.
I have a feeling that NW will use a mixed version of these two.
I had a character achieve the Undead II achievement during the Beta, killing 500 Undead, and seen the next achievement was at 5000. After staying there in the tutorial, studying this achievement (that is why I stayed in the Tutorial so long) I just didn't feel I had the time to keep going all the way to 5000. It had taken me a couple hours to get to 500 kills, and getting to 5k would take 10 times longer still, so.
So it seems to use a Champs like kill counter for achievements.
I'm gonna actually try, the next Beta weekend, to get 5000 kills, just to see what the reward IS, but I feel that a fashion item might not be it, more likely a damage % bonus against that critter type.
