Good morning all. I know everyone is prepping for today's Beta so I will keep the introduction brief.
My moniker is DwellerofVault13. Obviously, I am a fan of the Fallout series. I am still waiting for a "Fallout Online." Fallen Earth is as close as it has gotten so far.
My experience with Cryptic goes back to CoX and the various transitions/additional games since then.
My experience with Dungeons and Dragons (all of its incarnations) starts back in the 1980's with the Intellivision games A.D.&D. Cloudy Mountain and Treasure of Tarmin. I have explored the PnP world of Greyhawk and the Forgotten Realms. I have spent many a day trying to slay Draconians in Dragonlance. I have sailed the Crystal Spheres of Spelljammer. I have discussed the meaning of life in Sigil and travelled the Planescape. I have wandered the deserts of Al Qadim. I have survived the horrors of Ravenloft. And I have thwarted the Defilers of Dark Sun. And I have played almost every Dungeons and Dragons game on video game systems and PC. This includes DDO from Turbine.
Anyways, that is enough about me. Good hunting all and I will see you in Neverwinter in a few hours.

Just gotta know, what was your first experience like with the Dragon in that game? Will never forget my first encounter with it, scared the bejeezers outa me. Was wondering around in the dark, since i had run out of tourches and had the bow equiped. Had previously found that fireing arrows into the dark, like after running out of torches, was a good way to kill monsters before they could attack me. That worked great, untill I pissed off that dragon. The game had a realy loud and terrible sound for that Dragon. And i found out he could see in the dark. Fire an arrow into the dark and the next thing i knew this realy loud and awfull sound came from the speakers, and next thing i knew i was dead, a Dragon snack. heheheh.. was a good time, looking back on it...
Hail and well met brave adventurer and welcome to the Neverwinter forum!
If in your journey you seek a guild to aid you on your way, then might I suggest you make your way to the that notice board over there and look at the Directory of the Founder Guilds of Neverwinter as I'm sure you will find something that will take your fancy. All the best.
Welcome Lurker!
I am leader in my encounters, and must I say what a rare honor to meet a Lurker. I once met another lurker in an encounter group. As I used my mace to bash his face, instead of attacking me back, he took out his horn of condor and blew it. I was laughing but I must say, what ensued had me amazed and respect lurkers - their powers are time-delayed but very difficult to handle!
Although Gillrmn, it has been a long time since I have clinged to a ceiling, waiting for an unsuspecting adventurer to wander beneath me, and falling on top of them so that I may smother the life out of them or be destroyed in the process.
Although, to end the nightmare that is "reality television," maybe a few Lurkers would be good on the set. Cheers everyone!
