As I have not done the beta-test, I am very confuse about this game. I have read the forum sot I guess I understand the class system. Though I don't understand how the world work.

Is there something a stake? Can the city of Neverwinter night fell if player defend it badly? As I red that the map is not free to wander inside, if this game only about doing quest that have no influence on the world only for loot and levelling? Is there dynamics events or accountability for the world ecology (can a species become extinct because players hunt it too much)?.

Is there player led politics where the players can become the actual rulers of the lands and city?

I don't really get the grasp as what this game is about and what part make it a RPG and not simply an adventure game.

I look for answer so has not to be sad if I invest money in a parck that all. I know that the real perfect MMORPG will not to be here but thisgame can be entertaining, though I would like to know what is it about.

Its an action MMO. Watch some videos and see if it might intrest you. The game is free to download and play when it comes out, so you can try it and go from there.

As bobcat says. And Skanvak, I am not sure what you are looking for. The "perfect MMO" is an opinion. If I had to contest with social structures like "actual rulers", I would not consider it a perfect MMO, since I just want to play, not worry about voting, being judged, or any of the mechanics that would follow such aims. Same thing basically goes for the "Neverwinter night fell if player defend it badly".

As far as I can tell, this is the summation: An action RPG where you are more grounded (as opposed to floaty, hot-key action), user generated content with the foundry, and free-to-play. Which, if you have the cash, skips grinding for some specific loot that you want (for good and bad).

Now, the free-to-play is worrysome since noone has nailed it as of yet. But they do state it is not going to be Pay 2 Win, and as such, hopefully you will spend money because you want to, not because the game needs you to. Beyond that, the combat looks fantastic and demands some attention and coordination between your somatosensory cortex, prefrontal cortex, and primary motor cortex. How much trained reactions are part of successfull playing depends on the difficulty level. But that is partly adressed by the potential offered by the foundry.

Also, it seems that voice-chat will be supported automatically for those in your party. So you will be able to communicate with everyone easily. Something lacking imho from earlier mmo's unless you join a guild with a speech-server.

Ah, this is interesting. I hink too it is lacking on most MMO.

For what I understand the game is I am in town I gather a party and we teleport to the location of the quest, we do the quest. Rince and repeat. Of course with a lot of usermade content you don't the quest shouldn't be repetitive. Look like a Diablo III set in Newerwinter nights setting (which might please some).

So my question is simple : is there something else to do than killing monster?

-There will be tradeskills, but there is no information yet.
    -PvP but no information yet
-There are events two announced are contest events, and intance events.
-Instance is like defeating waves of monsters with 4 others(I know its killing monsters but its not a normal quest)
-Contest events can be collecting relics in a zone against other people who ever gets most wins and gets some type of reward.
-You can create your own quest and dungeons so other people can kill the monsters.
-Could RP in the city with other role players.

Those are the only things I could think of on top my head. Not sure if they are planning anything else for launch that isn't killing monsters. I am new to Dungeons and Dragons, but just reading the name I would think the game would be highly dungeons and there would be some dragons along the way.

I hope they actually bring housing/guild halls to the game, and mini games to tavern or some type of buff system to the tavern to get people together, that will lead to chat and then adventures.

Most of the time, you ride to your quest on your mounts. There are certain group-only quests, like events and delves, that you can place yourself in a que for, that will teleport you there when you are ready.

Besides the usual quests, there's the delves and zone events I just mentioned, plus PvP, plus your own quest building tool, the Foundry.

I'm going to try to make the city of Waterdeep in the Foundry. Just for kicks.

yea, it is an action-game. Diablo MMO is an inaccurate, but still fairly to the point, description of this game. While some might light torches at that comment, this is the reason why I am on these forums waiting for this game.
