Game Freezing

Wondering if I am the only one having this problem. Seems like each time I load up the game to play shortly after, usually during my first fight, the game will freeze for about 1-2mins and then it will be fine for the rest of the play session. The first time it happened was when i went into the tunnels. The game froze on nearly every fight for about 30secs and then never happened again for the next hour or two that i played. When i played next it froze for about a minute and then never again as long as i didnt exit the game.

Went to play 20mins ago and it got worse. Now it wont unfreeze. When i did play the game ran fine with out any lag or fps drops so i dont know what the problem is >.<

Are you getting blue screens too? If so I bet you dollar for donuts that your motherboard is trying to die. If your not getting blue screens then its either ram or video card. If its not happening in other games at all then its a software compatabilty issue and then you need to post your specs in beta forums and report your issue.

I have the same exact problem didnt yesterday now i do >.<
also no blue screens and no other game does it.

I'm having the same issue. Played fine all day Friday but just started happening the first time I played Saturday. Same exact issue, didn't freeze except when I started to fight but won't unfreeze at all.

I am having the same exact issue. I played fine earlier in the day, now even after starting a new character the game freezes.

+1 for no reason, the game will just freeze for about 30 seconds that it will unfreeze with no apparent other effects.

Still having this, sorry for necroing this thread. Just searching forum through for possible fixes. This happens heavily at protectors enclave(running around or accessing inventory/bank/vendor) and helms hold but elsewhere it's just random(tho it's most common to happen in a middle of fight causing deaths). There are some days it doesn't happen like yesterday but today it's on again. I have no additional software or services. Clean installation. No similiar effects with any other games.. I haven't found a setting in neverwinter that makes it go away, lowest details and troubleshooting doesn't help.
