I was watching all of the the playable classes and don't see any of them using some sort of combo system. Without them, existing combat will get very boring after few days of playing. You don't have a chance of dealing extra damage by fully controlling the fight during the combat. Just spamming the attacks skills without combining them is what every MMO can give you in the very beginning of the game.

With limited mapped skills, many will be looking how to make that deep enough to make it interesting. Combo's are an option to add combat depth, in a game that perhaps may need it.
