that was the best and most unique class that i was looking forward to in game.
No Foundry, No Drow and none of the classes I want to play but its not going to stop me from enjoying something else about the game. I was mildly upset but I have gotten over it, especially considering how much fun the press events looked.

Agreed, but looks like everybody is gonna scramble for control mage since nobody was able to test it.

Rogue's are routinely topping the "what are you going to play" charts. Although after what I saw today I expect a bunch of people will switch classes once they start playing. Rogue's look like they're going to be punishing to play if you aren't on top of your game due to their melee proximity and low mitigation.

Control wizards look like a endgame class, you arent going to need to CC the level 10-30 HAMSTER in the game as itll be easier and faster to just zerg the content down, if they want to polish that class more this is the time to do it
You understand there are months of further beta weekends before launch, right? There could very well be a different mix of things that need testing next time.

I am expecting there to be a slightly different mix of classes and races available for each weekend. But, if there isn't a wipe you may be able to use a character you created during a previous weekend. Of course, I'm also expecting frequent wipes...
