What level can you ride a mount

if you got the guardian or hero founders pack? Cause in the stream it says level 20 to buy a mount from the mount vender.

Level 20 for your first mount, it was shown in a Live stream today. It didn't show the mount from the founders pack so they might be lower than 20.

They specifically mention that the rare (purple) item you get from a treasure chest in the Hero of the North Pack is 60th level, which suggests you have to be that level to use it. So it wouldn't surprise me for them to give us a mount that we cannot use until 20th level. In Star Wars: The Old Republic, I got a STAP mount as a bonus (Collector's Edition, I think it was) but I still could not USE it until the game let me use ~any~ mount.

If mounts are of different "levels", I would hope/assume that the levels only refer to levels-of-speed, since I imagine you cannot FIGHT with a mount and I'm not sure what purpose levels would serve on a mount (except to limit the level you have to be to use it, eg). If that's the case, I hope the Founders' Packs are NOT lower-than-normal level ---- having a unique mount is all well and good, but if it turns out there are faster/better mounts, then it becomes a purely cosmetic decision and pragmatism would force me to sacrifice that cosmetic choice for a numerically superior mount.

The mounts are likely instant while the FREE mounts are min l 20. Ahh what the heck it was all streamed....



there are also horses available for levels 40 and 60 not counting special mounts gotten for AD currency or...devotion.
