Everybody knows they will be out at launch. Everybody knows they are being played now. There is no secret about the class being available. So give us our "Devoted Cleric class revealed" video!

Sounded to me like they were trying to sort out the Healing Mechanics before they went ahead and posted the video. That or they are just holding out for "hype"/marketing reasons.
Also-- anyone sure on the 'taunt' mechanics. 4e had mark+punish for fighter and paladin. I dont recall seeing anything like that but I may have missed it during the Guardian Fighter convos.
If there is it must be old. I've been on the forum every day for a couple of months. I haven't seen anything. Though I don't check every tab. Just about 3 tabs with every thread in them.

This is the one I thought I saw. Usually hit the "New Posts" tab at the top to see all the new stuff being talked about. A cleric trailer in the cleric section of the forums..... and its last post was none other than today (started about a week ago).

The devoted cleric is currently too busy fighting the nine hells off at Helms Hold to get a showcase.
That or they're just smug. *shrugs*
Either way they are in the game but for some reason have received the least amount of spotlight.

Since I'm an alt-a-holic, I will probably at least TRY the cleric class (Dwarven, probably)... but I am also a soloist so if the cleric is able to dish damage, take damage, and heal herself and it's a fun experience then I'll stick with it. If the cleric ends up being too dependent on others --- to take damage that the cleric can then heal or to DO damage since the cleric cannot do enough damage, fast enough, to outpace her self-healing --- then it may not be for me.
A class video like the others we've seen would certainly help allay some of my fears.
Clerics can normally pop some descent damage, just depends how they perceive the class. I would love to see the Blade Barrier, Monster summoning, Inflict wounds(light/mod/serious), Bless, Flame Stirke.....oh i cant wait to see their line up.!!!

NOW I remember the last time I played a cleric... I had a Dark Elf cleric who wore a set of dark blue plate armor (matched her skin tone nicely) and I think wielded a shield and mace. She surprised me with her solo-ability both through spells but also through plate armor and melee.... not much of a dedicated healer, me (although in a group I HAD to, and that got boring quick just standing there throwing heals at everyone else).
One thing that always turned me off of the cleric (and really ANY spellcasting class) was the times-per-day spell usage. Granted, we'll have abilities we can only use once per Encounter, or once per "day" (not sure what time frame the "dailies" will have on recharge)... but judging by the OTHER class info presented, the cleric will surely have two 'regular' at-will powers...
One would think some kind of attack (melee, perhaps/preferred, but could be a holy light kind of ranged attack I suppose) and then a secondary ability that one would think almost has to be some form of heal. A cleric whose "regular" heals are restricted to once-per-encounter would be pretty severely limited. Of course, if there are abilities that are on, like, 6 to 12 second recharge and THOSE are the heals / regenerative buffs, etc... that could work, although I would still prefer a more immediate at-will heal being available.

I would love to see a video for Devoted Cleric! Then again, I already know that it's what I'm going to play... so a video will probably just make me even more impatient for the game to come out.

The devs were too busy balancing the cleric from internal testing to make a formal video. Pretty much same reply as the other thread.
