Customize your appearance and fine-tune your equipment to fit your playstyle. How will you customize your character in Neverwinter? Let us know on Facebook.
How bout an article that delves into... ohhh I don't know... ACTUAL specifics of the game? That entire article is absolutely worthless as it gives absolute zero details of the game. You community has time again time again time again been asking for actual details about the game. Like feat details, combat mechanics (healing, tanking specifics), explanation of racial abilities (like the human one), role of stats, gear itemization, background ect ect ect and that is not even touching the Foundry.
Everything mention in that article is no brainer. "Leave no slot blank" no **** Sherlock, Crit/Attack Power/Penetration/ect/ect/ect are all staple stats in MMOs and no HAMSTER what class goes for what.
Sorry to say this but Cryptic get ya'lls head out of your *** with this atrocious marketing. This is getting way too tiresome. Time after time again there is something in the news section that reveals absolutely nothing of the game. Never have I seen such vague PR work of a game. Which is quite possibly hurting your audience as we are left guessing on features that has already turned people away, like a complete bastardization of D&D.

I can't say that I'm all that impressed by that article. All standard MMO armor stuff. Nothing to differentiate Neverwinter from other MMOs. Which is fine, no need to reinvent the wheel on everything, but it doesn't really justify having an article on the subject.
Is there any sort of cosmetic armor system, so that we can choose appearance and mechanics independently in some way? That's what I expected the article would be about going into it, but it said nothing on the subject. Personally, I hope for a LOTRO-style "costume tab" system.

Why all the stats are...not the D&D ones? Where are Strenght/ Dexterity/ Constitution/ Intelligence/ Wisdom & Charisma? Where are the AC, Fortitude, Reflex and Wisdom defenses?

why cut up such a short interview into 2 parts?
pictures were nice though, and i am happy that life drains will be possible.
But seriously, thats all for this week about a game to release early 2013?

It's interesting that Cleric will be able to heal and deal damage consistently by the same stat. This is actually a good idea imho. I guess that power/ArP/crit dilemma will depend on build, and will be theorycrafted. Hopefully.

I think reading the comments on the article was as entertaining as the cheerleader style the article was written in.
Stating that customization is nearly unlimited is certainly not believable or desirable for that matter. I would like to see stability and character specialization within schools of mastery, taught by the masters or learned by trial. This pretty much is headed to a convoluted game of slapjack if care isn't taken to stop it from happening.
