Just curious if NW will have positionable HUD elements like STO or if they will be locked to the screen (like d3, for instance).
I ask because I run high horizontal resolution across 3 monitors (5760x1080) and UI's that are glued to the edges of game screens are ergonomically poor for eyefinity users.
As far as I know, there hasn't been any info on UI customization.

Haven't heard anything on the matter either but this is one of those instances I just posted about in another topic regarding the benefits of not delaying the Beta release.
This is something developers can easily overlook during development and the earlier this is considered the easier (and more likely) it could be modified. Hopefully they've thought ahead and added some form of GUI customization as it could be helpful even for users that don't use eyefinity but I wouldn't be surprised if there's very limited GUI Control Support.
Thanks for the replies guys. I really hope they are taking cues from the STO GUI as well as the foundry. Basically all hud element positions can be customized in STO.

I didn't notice that part of the post, doh!
I'm sure, although not guaranteeing, that if STO has a customizable GUI then NWO will too.
Cryptic developed both of them and it's better to look at the company's past history than to compare it to other game company's products. Also "The Foundry" is the name of the custom game development tool. It has nothing to do with in game GUI's which are handled completely separately.
Plus, STO also has a Foundry ;-)
They are using the same engine so the UI should be similar in structure. @handles for example, would be the same as STO and CO. But as in some other thread before, I do hope they have an option of custom UI too. That way people can design UI to the themes they like most (e.g. tiefling theme, drow theme, dragon theme etc.)
Also the ability to minimise and make the UI small for more action based feeling with clear screen. But lets wait and watch.
