Hi all !

I'm Colm, married but no kids (yet), french roleplayer, community leader, guild(s) master, and a huge fan of anything that touches the Forgotten Realms. I own many Forgotten Realms books, among which most of the R A Salvatore novels and my personal favorite the "War of the Spider Queen" series (drow inside^^) are stocked up in my personal library, right beside my old but not so dusty video games collection (featuring all the Balgur's gate, Icewind Dale and Nevewinter Nights 1 & 2).

I also play a lot of MMORPGs, among which Champions Online et Star Trek Online, so I'm familiar with Cryptic's other work.

I'm looking forward for this new Neverwinter game. The little I've seen sounds very promising. I always loved the character creation in Cryptic games, and this STO style foundry will prove to be very usefull for all roleplayers out there. IMO, it puts the RP back in MMORPG.

See you soon (hopefully) in Beta ! ;)

Welcome my friend! We shall strike down our foes together and hopefully fall at the feet of Lolth but with dignity.

    Howdy to you Colm!!

And why are we dyeing Lolth's feet? Wouldn't that make her mad?

Thank you all for the warm welcome !

    About dying at Lolth's feet.

Well, first we'd have to go to the 66th layer of the Abyss, which is probably the worst place in the Elemental Realms. If we survive up to that point, which is highly improbable, we could maybe meet Lolth, and surely die at her feet, but that's not quite the end of it. Also because we die in her realm, our souls would then belong to her so she can torture us for enernity. So for me, the meer concept of meeting Lolth would probably not be by choice. :)

The following is a page from last entry of the diary of a GNOME BARD who disappeared under suspicious circumstances:-
    =======================
Killing lolth is a lot easier than you think. Get a wizard and ask him/her/it to make a magic telephone to call lolth. Then call lolth after getting her number from a captured drow who will be tortured by "Good" and "Kindhearted" faction.

Next, call her and say, lolth, your name has two nerd roots - prefix of lol - Laugh out loud, and postfix of -th - bitting the tongue because of hysterical laugh. Then call her tongueless raging nerd.

Result:- She will take 1d<troll> amount of <poor joke> elemental damage.
    I bet she can't survive.

I heard Lolth had all the gnome bards killed for that very reason.

    She didn't kill them.

    "I am a monster! RAWRRR!"

This is what became of them - because they became bardbarian not because of lolth.
