So yes, I thought I'd introduce myself to these so far very interesting and kind hearted forums! While my DnD experience isn't as vast as some, I've been playing since the birth of 3rd edition and since then, have played many different kinds and settings. While I mostly make up my own worlds and settings for when I DM, neverwinter and the forgotten realms did play a large portion back when I was learning the game.
A friend of mine was responsible for getting me involved by asking me to draw their character each time. After a while my shyness took a back seat and I've loved roleplaying ever since!
I tend to stick to very skill based, almost none combatant style characters or very bizarre concepts so im very curious to see how cryptic is able to pull this off and make it fun! I've played many of their old mmos and I've always loved them, but so far neverwinter looks like it's on a whole new level and I'm very excited!
So cheers to everyone here and cheers to cryptic and wizards of the coast and also, cheers to, I hope, getting to spend houuuuuurs in the character creation making that perfect hero or heroin to take us through the magic of it all.

*Gives back armour* sorry, don't know what came over me! It probably wouldn't fit anyway. That said, you might want to ask your church for a nicer one, this one seems to be missing all the lovely golden lineings *nods sagely*

Anyways, clerics are always honest (except for maybe me and a few).
I believe heroin is a trade skill unlocked in their first expansion, "Puff the Magic Dragons".
Hopefully, they'll have RP servers where people stick to being in-character, but i have a feeling it will be rare people will do non-combat things and still level/advance their character. I'm sure that you could be a good level 1 crafter if you can manage to get enough start-up gold, and there are no character level restrictions on crafting.
