Hello peeps.

Just heard about this and my curiousity is piqued to say the least.

A little about myself. I colored my first Dice with a cheap wax crayon included in the box. But I never got around to digging out that collasped tunnel.
I still have my 1st edition books along with 2nd, 3rd, 3.5. I used to be a DM on the White Wolf D20 Scarred Lands Chat. I worked on modules in NWN and have measured all MMO's against my experiences with persistant worlds I played in NWN, namely the Fraghaus Krynn server that was hard core PVP. They have all been found wanting.

I am cynical and jaded and cantankerous.

I look forward to seeing how this plays out with the foundry, as this is what I have been looking for, a MMO based DnD....*glares at DDO* And there hasnt been one made yet.

So anyways, look forward to discussing things with people and seeing how this turns out. Though my initial feeling is that I hate the setting. I have hated it ever since the first person set down at my table and pulled out his NG male Drow Ranger.

jus you wait there...this mobility scooter only goes so fast!!!

I switched to Dragonlance setting, low magic and no drow. Of course, when Drow were first introduced, they were never meant to be player characters...then this Salvatore guy just had to right his anti-hero novels. Good reading but I could have beaten him about the head and shoulders with a Flumph.

LoL welcome to Neverwinter! Former Old Timers Guild member here as well (until 2009 when I branched off to co-lead Tyrs Paladium.) I was Frobozz_from_Zork on the OTG site by the way, if you've been on in recent years.

Welcome. I fell out of love with DragonLance with the plethora of Mary Sue characters that could rival Forgotten Realms, so I went somewhere where killing them would be more fun and sadistic; Ravenloft :D

Can't say I have my 3rd edition books anymore, because 3rd rubbed me the wrong way.

all my dragon lance was set ....well let me step back a bit.

I DM'd all of the original DL modules when they were first being released.
Then set my own campaign after the conclusion of the War of Lance. So didnt touch the 2nd generation stuff or the Chaos timeline stuff.

And yeah, liked Ravenloft as well. There was a module I think that had Lord Soth in Ravenloft with some undead kender IIRC.

Yea, then they got ****y that Soth was in Ravenloft and he was taken out, and not long after that they kill him. Oi.

I sort of deny that he ever escaped Ravenloft. Their reasoning why was flimsier than wet toiler paper.
