'Elcome to the Militia soldier. You've entered the realm of drunken spartan-like scotsmen, if that makes any sense. Having been born from the fires of UO in 2001 we are still here, still standing, still takin' fochin' names. We are indeed still a RP-PvP guild and we will be roleplaying out as The Yew Militia in any game our members are interested in. With blood and iron, strength of will. HUAH EM MILITIA!!

Who tha foch are you?
Founded in 2001, the Yew Militia has defended it's lands in various games, stubbornly carrying out the traditions and heritage of Yew. A name not easy to shake for us, we cling to it with pride. We roleplay out a military unit, comprising of "free-peoples" Militia. Citizen-warriors fighting for the greater good, defending Yewian peoples and tending to our logistical duties when not under arms. We tend to gravitate towards formations when practical, with a set military chain of command.
Can I attain a high rank?
Why yes you can! Anyone with the gutso and initiative can rise up the military ladder. If you become a veteran of the guild you are granted officer forum access to discuss and put forth your ideas for our future. All of us have first been led before becoming leaders of the guild, and we have built a system to give soldiers a system to work for, earning certifications and medals on their treck upwards. Rest assured however, we treat everyone equally from the maggit up. Officers may yell at you in game, but out of game nobody is a scrub or a nobody. You are a valued addition to the division you join from the first day.
What about other RP guilds?
We'll always be doing our part to organize fun battles in the RP-PvP community. We are always free to contact if other groups wish to approach us with events or ideas.
