Qwildurn: [shout] hi hi

Just introducing myself to Neverwinter and those who are awaiting it's arrival.

Qwildurn Bluemoon, was my character that successively completed the NeverWinter Nights campaign. From there Qwildurn became my logon for online NWN. Sometimes you might actually see me play a toon named Qwildurn. She is always an Elf, usually a Bard/Ranger/RDD mix. Not the strongest of characters, but definitely a multi-talented adventurer and excellent support for a group.

I've been playing DND for 25 or so years.
Never actually played the PNP version.
I've been playing NWN (the original) since 04 or 05.
I've been hosting BadLands RPG since 05 or 06 and I am still hosting it as of this writing.
I bought NWN2 the first day it was on the shelf expecting something sweet and was terribly disappointed.

I'm hoping that Neverwinter (NWN3) will satisfy my expectations and be the successful continuation of the original NeverWinter Nights with serious devotion to the on-line module builder/host/player.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but this is NOT NWN3.

This is a game set in the same world quite a long time later, made by a different company than the company that made the Nights games. It should still be appealing to you , as it is a D&D product, but please do not expect/compare it to the nights series, as it is a different game by different developers. Go in with less of a Nights expectation and you might find you like it. Expect it to be the third installment (which it is not), and you have a good chance of being disappointed no matter how good it turns out to be.

I'll try to keep that in mind. You better explain this to the marketing department, they're the ones that lead me to believe this was going to be NWN3. In fact, they used "NWN3" in their blurb.
