Well met Adventurers,
My brother quit playing chess with me and introduced me to DnD in 1978. When AOL introduced Neverwinter Nights Online AOL had just gone to unlimited internet access and NWN was a 16bit color game...very 2 dimensional...and only 500 could play at a time. Since AOL killed that game, I've been in Realms, EQ1 and 2, Judges Guild, and now in Turbine's version of DnD. I still have my Gary Gygax original box set of DnD as well as the all of the books for the first 3 versions of Dnd...My Deities and Demigods book has the Melnibonean and Cthulu Gods in it. ;) I quit collecting after the introdutions of the middle eastern and asian expansions to the books and boxed up my scores of Dungeon magazine, Dragon Magazine, & more game 'modules' than you can shake a wand at. Two children were much more adventure than I could handle at that time. Now, they are adults and I can be a kid again.
I would like to know how to apply to the beta, if 53 year olds are allowed to play betas, and hope the developers of this version of DnD will draw on the rich history of this game and try to include versions of the modules that made the game worth playing on so many weekend nights with friends that I still play with, tho the distance between houses has increased. Thank you Atari, Hasbro, and others involved in this project. I look forward to its development.

Sign up for the newsletter. Once that information is available, that will be the way they announce when and how to apply for beta.
