I really loved playing Neverwinter Nights, and even a little of Neverwinter Nights 2. So I have some questions, surrounding classes and levels.
Has Cryptic said what the max level for this game will be?
What classes will be available at launched?
Will we be able to multiclass like the offline version?
The reason I ask these questions, is because the biggest draw of an MMO is the variety in building and developing your character. As long as there are many different ways to build your character, developing them into the hero you want. Even though the story may be less than stellar, and other parts maybe less than perfect.
But if the character development is not good enough then I will quickly lose interest.
I don't think they have stated what the max level will be.
Fighter, Rogue, Ranger, Wizard, and Cleric are the 5 classes that have been mentioned so far
4th edition (which Neverwinter uses) works a lot different than 3rd edition (which the Neverwinter Nights game use) especially in regard to multiclassing. You are able to pick up multiclassing feats that will give you some of the features of another class, as opposed to picking what class you want to level up in each level. How the multiclassing classes feats (if we even get them) hasn't been discussed yet so we don't know how thing will work in Neverwinter.

From what I remember off-hand from the old press bits the answers would be...
1) At launch a cap of 10, the game at launch focusing on the Heroic tier and making the experience there as deep and meaningful as they can.
2) Fighter, Rogue, Wizard, Ranger, Cleric at launch, with others to be announced and added later.
3) I *think* it was said that their would be no multi-classing at launch, likely in part due to how different the 4E multi-class rules are from previous editions and the amount of complexity they would add to character creation.
I can't remember on the multi-class question for certain as I can't recall which of the interviews it was asked about so I may be entirely wrong on that one, or just making assumptions without basis.
Similarly, while I can't recall anyone having asked about the Hybrid classes (as introduced in PH3) I would guess they are likely entirely out of the question as well at least as launch, but would happily be surprised to be told otherwise.
Keep in mind also that most of the info about the game that we have right now is from interviews that happened back in last August/September.
