I knew that Cryptic had rights to one of the Dungeons and Dragons games, and I had heard rumors it was Neverwinter Nights 3, but this is pleasently surprising.
So, let me tell you a little about myself.
I got City of Heroes at launch day, and played that for about 5 months. I was part of the Champions Online and the Star Trek Online betas, and still play the silver Champions Online about twice a month.
I think Cryptic has a very good grasp on how to let players customize characters, but I have doubts about their ability to make a game that can really pull me in and keep me interested. Some of you may enjoy the games more than I do, but I find them not as deep as I'd like.
Hopefully, this game will prove me wrong.
Let's see how they handle a game that has been very gear centric since its inception on tabletops.
All we can do is wait and see what Cryptic has to offer. Provide our feedback both positive and negative without sounding like ranting fools. So lets hope for the best.
