Greetings!
I've played D&D since grade school when my neighbor who was DM'ing a game needed another party member for running "Tomb of Horrors". They needed someone to find traps, so they got me to play a fighter in the theory that at 1st level the hit points of a Fighter would do that job better then the Thiefs skills.
A few minutes later, and after being animated as an zombie, I was pretty much hooked on the game and 27 years later I am still playing D&D pretty regularly.
I've also been playing games by Cryptic since CoH/CoV and recognize a few names here from the CO/STO forums.
I also ran a NWN persistent world way back in the day that was called Thaosia.
