"Denizens of the Deep" quest can't be finished or abandoned.

In my quest journal I can a quest under "Protector's Enclave" called "Join Denizens of the deep". It has the first goal done (Learn about Denizens of the Deep) and the second goal (Complete event quests to help your team win) is not done. I have tried to complete event quests, but it was never finished. Now the event is over, and I was going to give up on it and abandon it but that will not work because the abandon button is greyed out.

I think the quest should be done and I am hoping you can mark it completed for me. If not, please tell me how I can remove it from my quest log.
