I equipped two new armor pieces today were 700 item level higher than what I had. Put a reinforcement at 800 item level on the feet and my item level went down from 95 something to 89,000, how the h is that possible?

Wear the old set and post the screen shot. Wear the new set and post the screen shot. Use the same loadout.

What I should of done, what I use to have to do was take a screen shot before I change anything and then after. But they stopped HAMSTER up all the time so I quit, what a pisser to have to do that all the time. I know I could do that thanks plasticbat and I also know it might not work and I just wanted someone to tell me how the f could that happen.

Nobody can tell you what happened without the screen shots.
If you did not trash the old gear, take a screen shot with the new gear. Then, wear the old gear and take the screen shot.
By the way, it is easy to post a screen shot in this forum. For windows 10, Winkey - shift - s. Use your mouse to frame what you want to cut from your monitor. Come to the forum and edit your post, type 'CTRL-V'. The image will be hosted automatically. You don't need to find a place to host the image yourself.
