ACT How do you make it work. Help if you know please.

Thats an app that is suppose to tell you how much damage per second you are dealing. I downloaded it, but it tells me there is no data whenever I try to use it. Can anyone tell me -in very very simple terms what the trick is???? Thank you in advance for any answer.
