Played yesterday, today the launcher doesn't work

It gets up to showing the version number but the bar to the left of that stays gray and that's where I'm stuck.

    Nevermind I guess.
    I was talking about the Neverwinter launcher, the bar to the left of the "Version number xxxx" stayed black.
    After three minutes - I checked the time - it finally flashed to 'Patching' and then immediately filled and I can get in after all.
    But, seriously, three full minutes it just sat there.

    Dumb indeed. Me. I was trying to connect on my 5G internet connection in the Chicagoland area during race weekend when everyone and their aunts and uncles were trying to connect up with each other or just brag about being there.
