Black screen when switching characters

Since the latest update released in late June 2024 I've had an issue where when I go to the change character screen after playing with my main character it will just go to a black screen and nothing will happen so I have to go to Xbox dashboard and either load up another game or turn off the console after which I will load up Neverwinter and will get a message saying there was a login failure.
I have removed my save data from the console which worked until today when the issue started again.

    I have experienced this as well, as recently as yesterday 3 July, about 4 out of 10 times when changing characters

    Happened to me today while cycling through my alts for the Summer event. Locked up 3 times on 9 characters (I have one of each class) Shows a black screen with just the version number at the top center of the screen. You have to exit to Home, quit the game, then restart.
