Journal icon always on in both characters

in Bug Reports (PC)
I have the problem that the Journal icon is permanently on in both of my characters...I have clicked everything within the journal but it has made no difference.

Any help appreciated as I am not techie!

    That's not your Journal. The middle one is your workshop. The one to the right is your Chronicle. Usually indicating you have something you can collect.

    Move your mouse cursor to the icon (the one with 'N'), you will see the word 'profession'.



    Move your mouse cursor to the icon (the one with 'J'), you will see the word 'Quest Journal'.
