New use for Shards of Empowerment

I don't know about everyone else, but I've got a bunch of the Epic (purple) Shards of Empowerment with no use for them. Epic mount collars are so easy to get that there is really no point in upgrading those of lower rank. You can't really sell them on the Auction house (at least not to make decent AD's) so what if you add the option to convert them to Insignia Powder?
