Dragonslayer progress from just young dragons?

Is there any chance in the future that we will be able to progess in the Dragonslayer campaign from just hunting young dragons? Having the campaign stop giving credit for young dragons after 19 hunts stinks. The Dragnonslayer campaign sitting in my journal unfinished makes me sad.
I know from the track I'm really just missing out on one boon and 100k ad, but I'd like to finish this solo.

It was a while ago... but doing stronghold dragonflight events gives you two ridges for killing a specified dragon, and that gave me progress in the campaign. I remember I was surprised one day being able to claim one of the campaign progress rewards, just by doing stronghold dragonflight events.

It won't give you the materials to buy gear from the shop, and I don't think it increases your dragon hunter level. But it might let you finish the campaign.

As to whether you could do it solo... probably if you're strong enough, but it will cost you 2500 guild marks for each go!

For me, it made me join the queue for ancient dragons and I finished it that way. Just using the queue, as a DPS, with lots of patience and taking the opportunity when the queue popped.

Yeah, I've been thinking about going that route. Maybe when they have a sale that's 30% or higher, sad part that's only going to help one characer.
