The aim circles on the floor (when u use ur encounters such as icy terrain) are sitting lower than the floor making them invisible. This is the same issue as parts of Karrundax have had for ages. In this case when icy terrain goes off you can hardly even see the frost rising, so it's even lower than Karrundax is.
