collector item packs & Auction house prices

Recently i bought the epic mount collectors pack after warching a youtube video by Aragon saying that that armed pilar bear is a really cool and unique item so i paid the 1200 zen and got it..little did i know that the same mount was selling for 38k ad on the AH. i have already reported this to the GMs who advised me to mention it here for the developers to have a look.
Personally i feel scammed..you need to check the AH before asking for people’s hard earned money..why would we buy a colectible item if it is widely and cheaply available on the AH for 1/100 of the price?

Thank you for reading

    1. check everywhere before buying anything. Depends on what it is, it could be obtained by grinding, seal store, campaign stores, AD store, AH and Zen store. And other method such as Winter festive gifting.
    2. Don't buy anything from Zen store (if you have to buy it from Zen store) without using a coupon.
    3. AH price is set up by players who can set that to 1 AD if one wants to. Cryptic has no direct control of that.
    4. Current AH price has no bearing to Zen store price originally assigned. AH price changes everyday. When Cryptic prices it too far from AH, it only means they could not get the money they could have because most people just would not buy from it. In other words, they lose money.

    Caveat emptor.

YOU should have checked the AH before shelling out the money for the zen.
