At-will auto attack ranger

Seen some post from 2 years ago about this on a warlock. Its been an issue for many years. open any window and auto attack begins. Canceling it is not the point it not happening at all is the point. Same as other people end game raids try to use a potion from inventory auto attack begins.

I find it handy when I need to write something to the party like emergency instructions, I can be holding my at-will down and hit alt to access chat and then I keep hitting with at-wills while I'm writing. But it's annoying when I have a window open and the enemy I've been hitting dies because I run along to the next part thinking all is well and then as soon as I'm in range my at-wills go off automatically and I aggro mobs when I didn't want to. I think the key is to open windows only after stopping hitting, and as far as the other thing goes, some kind of sensor would be nice where it will not go-on to attack a new target, as soon as the old one is dead it cancels-out and reverts to normal.
