Character movement issue

Does anyone else have this problem? I login to neverwinter and my character won't move unless I release a wasd key and the whole game freezes for a while then for a split second it moves. and when I go to the logout screen it affects typing too, like EVERYTHING freezes. On all characters, I've been emailing the support team and done everything they think might help, but nothing does. And everything else on my computer if fine including my keyboard. I've been playing for 3 years and it only started 11 days ago. Is this just me? Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Have you played with keybinds at all? If you have, reset to default.

Yea, I've reset everything. And done all I can. Do you have the same problem?

It should be just you.

Is the system hitting the hard disk heavily? If you use a hard disk, you should hear the noise. If your system use SSD, you will need to bring up Task Manager to monitor the disk activities (and other system resource activities). If this is the case, it is not a key or game issue. It is your system was too busy for whatever reason. Sometimes, the OS does that in the background.

By the way, did you reboot your PC?

I've checked everything and rebooted my PC. Done everything imaginable and been going back and forth with emails ect.. for 12 or 13 days. I'm hoping it's just me though. thanks for your feedback.

The only issue I have had with moving recently is that while in combat sometimes I get stuck in the same place, cannot run, cannot jump, cannot move in any direction and am glued to the spot, nothing works and I have to relog and return to the battle to reset it. Has happened twice now in the last month.

I had that too, on and off for a year or so. Hope you don't get the problems I've got. My problem only started like 13 days ago. Are you on PC?

12th and 13th dec logged in, started playing after 3mins in combat some sort of green energy effect surround my character and i can't move or fight last 2 days since patch in wildspace utterly frustrating! have to relog and then same thing happens again only this game on my pc

Wow, I've never heard of that. It seems a lot of people are having problems lately. I haven't started wildspace. Have you checked the patch notes?

I just logged in to Neverwinter and my player was unstuck, but only lasted 2 or so minutes.
