Chat not working.. Can see all chats but can only PM to communicate.

Can't "SAY" in chat on all channels except I can "PM" but alliance, guild and group chats are all visible but I can't say anything. In immediate proximity they can see the 'chat bubble' over my head but unless I PM... they can't see my reply in CHAT under Alliance, Guild, Group, etc. I used /whitelist_chat 0 and 1 to reset. Did the force verify multiple times. Rebooted several times and it has been since the upgrade that I started losing chat. It returned briefly but lost it transferring between zones. Also reset to default multiple times.. .No joy. Interferes a lot with runs and groups.

Are you actually changing to the appropriate chat? Say is immediate local.
