Hi folks,
I hope you're all having a great time in the world of Neverwinter. Today, I want to chat about something that's been bugging me and, I'm sure, a lot of you as well. Let's make our game even more awesome and welcoming for everyone.
What's Been on My Mind:
Exclusivity Drama: So, there are these groups in the game, right? They kind of act like they're part of some super-secret club, and they don't let newcomers or anyone who thinks a little differently join in. It's like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, and it's just not cool.
Reporting Gone Wild: Okay, this one's a bit nuts. Some players are using the reporting system for all the wrong reasons. They're targeting others just for fun, and it's turning the game into a bit of a wild west show. We need to rein this in.
New Players Need a Break: It's tough seeing experienced guilds taking advantage of new players. Instead of helping them learn the ropes, they're using them as cannon fodder. That's not how we build a community.
Time to Upgrade Ignore: Now, about the Ignore feature. You'd think that if you ignore someone, they'd disappear, right? Nope! They can still see your messages and even report you. It's like trying to hide from someone with a spotlight.
What I'm Proposing:
Clearer Community Rules: Let's get the game developers to lay down some clear rules about how we should all treat each other. It's all about respect, being inclusive, and playing fair. And let's tackle that exclusivity issue head-on.
Fix the Reporting System: The reporting system needs some work. Reports should be taken seriously, not thrown around like confetti. We want a fair and balanced system.
Support for New Players: Newbies are the lifeblood of any game. Let's give them the help they need with resources, tutorials, and protection against exploitation. We want them to have a great time.
Improve the Ignore Feature: It's high time we made the Ignore feature work both ways. If you ignore someone, they shouldn't be able to see your messages. It's common sense.
To Wrap It Up with a Splash:
By tackling these issues, including the Ignore feature upgrade, we can make Neverwinter a place where we all look forward to logging in every day. I really hope the developers hear us out and join hands with us in building a gaming community that feels like home.

I understand your experience with helpful players, and it's crucial to maintain a positive atmosphere where newcomers can learn without fear of ridicule. Supporting each other benefits the community as a whole.
To greywynd:
You've raised valid points about exclusive groups, a common aspect of many games. While we're not here to dismantle these groups, we do want to foster a more inclusive environment for all players. As for the reporting system, concerns about its misuse can impact player experiences. Securiti basics.
To plasticbat:
Your perspective on exclusive groups is noted. Players often have their circles, but our goal is to ensure that new players can find their place without exclusion.
In conclusion:
Our struggles may be different from the digital realm, but the essence remains. Power, exclusion, and the need for fair rules persist. It's not just about following the code; it's about reshaping the system for the better, so everyone can thrive in their own way.
Fix the Queuing
Now there is a huge "market" in Protector's Enclave and shouting in LFG channel.
Why not add capability to see who is in the queue? Maybe with a flag for the queueing person if visible or not?
Also "sending reinforcements" is broken and many time people are stuck at the end of the adventure due to someone dropping off.
It won't probably fix "elite" teams, but will at least allow people. Even if you make a queue for LFG with indication what are you queuing for
