I can only go directly forward, changing the angle of the mouse doesn't let it do anything different. I will run into something and stay stuck there until I get out of the area, and go back if its an instance. Its very tiresome on top of alt not working by itself, I have to hold a and control down and do it a couple of times for it to work. This has been on all key boards so it is NOT a keyboard issue. It doesn't happen all the time but enough tobe very tiresome- the not going forward except straight ahead doesn't happen all the time. the alt and having to hit control too for awhile now.

Do you have a controller connected to your PC? If so, unplugging it might fix this issue.

Anyway, the way out of that is to press "t" again, just in case that's the problem.
I wish it only allows 't' to get it stop though so that I can start encounter while running.
So far, I killed 2 expensive gaming mice playing this game. My current cheaper gaming mouse has lasted for a few years so far.
I assume yours is a wired mouse. If it is a wireless mouse, the signal could be blocked or interfere. I had that problem before too. Mine is a wired gaming mouse.
The good ones are so expensive unless you hit a sale and I sure would like to know if they are worth it.
Unbind the target lock from ctrl and check the sticky keys in windows.
All the posts about issues to get into the free mouse mode (alt) unless pressing control and that seems like ctrl sticky keys issue or something similar and not a game bug.
I cannot check on it either because i threw it away already. When i statred up Neverwinter then - with a little delay and seemingly randomly- it triggered some background program to shot down every port on the same HUB the mouse was using on my PC.
Therefore that mouse couldn't be used anymore vOv
*Edit for spelling
Wireless mouse (especially those not classified for gaming) can give you random issue in game especially when the battery is closed to out but not exactly out.
